OFA Core :
The OFA Addon / Tools Menu has been regrouped. The main changes are as follows :
Delta Addon is now in a Sub-Menu in the OFA Tools Main Menu. The two Diagonal Imbalances (Diagonal Difference/Ratio) are in own sub-menu section here.
Advanced Profile is now in Sub-Menu Volume Profile in the OFA Tools Main Menu
Risk Reward and AlgoX remain as they were. The OFA Settings and Print/Structure option remains ie OFA/SC
All other Addons are grouped by functionality and all Chart Related items are in the Chart Setting Sub-Menu under OFA Tools.
OFA AlgoX :
Due to a unilateral change within Ninja – the Offsets for the following :
Entry and Stop now have a Check-Box which must be enabled in order for the Offset to apply.
The quantity box no longer can be set to zero (a Ninja change out of our control). So if you wish to use Zero Offset then ensure the Check Box for each is Disabled.

OFA Core :
A New Swing Basic Profile (SPB) Option – added to Volume Profile Menu and to the Horizontal menu. Colors derived from the Swing Profile Settings.
Key aspect is that it does not draw the profile lines and used when you want to only see cwap/vwap etc and the other options provided for Advanced Profile users.
This enables a clean quick view of the cwap / vwap & other elements for Advanced Profile users.
See the menu options in the VolumeProfile Menu submenu (Swing Basic Profile Options) to add for OFA Core users and those with Adv Profile.
All menu items where possible now persist and hold when changing multiple menu options.
OFA Delta Addon :
Diagonal Ratio Section – an additional option to include the zeros for the Ratios. The 0s are treated as a 1 – to help capture scenarios with a withdrawal of liquidity on one side.
Set the minimum bid/ask setting = 1.
Delta Histogram now has colors to match the Cumulative colors for net delta sell in Up Auction and net delta buy in Down Auction.
See OFA parameters to change the colors : the last parameters in the Delta Section to change colors.
Additions were made to enable a Net Delta Histogram of Horizontal Bid/Ask Volume for Print Mode.
Various display options and combinations have been provided.

OFA Core :
Sub-Menu Bid & Offer Sequence Alerts of the VolumeProfile Menu has an addition to dynamically resize the sequence dot markers
(Adjust Sequence Dot (DOT Size))
OFA Wave Volume :
A new addition was made to the OFA Wave Volume using the same calculation and principles by defining a tick tolerance setting (see the documentation in training library)
This addition captures the cumulative delta for the Waves – there are color options also when there is Net Selling in an Up Wave or Net Buying in a Down Wave. See indicator Settings for OFADeltaWave – no video has been made yet and I will include in the next release officially. For now this is a beta version and only few users made aware of this.
Recommended initial setting of OFADeltaWave parameter and tick tolerance (3 or 4 depending on instrument) – use OnBarClose option.

OFA Delta Add-On
Additional Delta filters added for the Diagonal ratio and Diagonal Difference sections in the Delta Menu.
When either of the options below are enabled : an additional check is made on the horizontal volumes based
On which side is the Dominant (largest) of the Diagonal Bid / Ask comparison.
Enable/Disable Horizontal Filter Check for Diag Difference (Ask > Bid or Bid > Ask)
Enable/Disable Horizontal Filter Check for Diag RATIO (Ask > Bid or Bid > Ask)
Tick up down and vol and tick difference beta – Highlights divergence potential manipulation between vol delta & up down tick delta. Based on a few user requests *beta* only.
What to use now focus on settings for using standard – remember these only work line on close in Overlay mode – meaning the overlay slots for NT8 are used for this on a chart. You cannot use another indicator in overlay mode (non OFA delta) at the same time – limitation in NT8 scaling.
Delta bid ask volume use following :
IsLineOnCloseDelta set to true
IsBidAskVolumeDelta set to true/enabled
For Delta up down tick volume use following :
IsLineOnCloseDelta set to true
IsBidAskVolumeDelta set to false/disabled
For the Tick Volume Difference line to show set the following :

An additional option ‘UseOneOrFullTickVolume’ has been provided to use volume = 1 for the
up/down tick process or to use the full bid/ask volume in the calculation.
For volume = 1 set this to true/enabled – will be covered in the video
Set the UpBar color setting for this line and set Scale as with the other two instances to Overlay and Panel 1 (same as input series)
This is in *beta* and not covered in videos – tracks the difference between the BidAsk Volume Delta and the UpDn Tick Delta
Which can highlight manipulation by the market makers/dealer with regard to absorption of delta and divergence between the two lines.

OFA Core :
For those using OFA Print mode an option has been added to the Delta & COT Numbers Sub-menu in VolumeProfile menu whereby you can set the background to be Transparent for all cases of using OFA Print. Ie not just when switching from structure mode to Print mode initially.
Enable/Disable Print Mode Background Always Transparent (Default Disabled)
An alternate sequence dot option has been provided for the following –
An ASK sequence near the lows of a Down Auction – Alternate Color in OFA Print Sequence Parameters is provided for the ALTERNATE Color for (Ask on Down Auction) and also (Bid on an Up Auction).
A BID sequence near the highs of an Up Auction.
The default is set to 2 and is recommended as in most cases it will not be more than this in the Rotation Close of OFA Probe and Rotation Bar. This setting is just above Settings Parameters lower down called Alternate Rotation Sequence Number.
This will be moved to the Print Sequence Parameters section in next release.
This can help to highlight a ‘stronger’ ASK response at the lows of a Down Auction and at the BID of an Up Auction.
The option to enable/disable this is in the VolumeProfile submenu Bid & Offer Sequence Alerts.
OFA AlgoX Add-On
A new submenu has been created in the VolumeProfile Main Menu.
There is an option to disable the AlgoX rendered Stop/Entry/Take Profit lines if you only want to see the Ninja Order Management (Chart Trader) lines.
A new option for a Narrow Algox Panel has been added. This enables a narrower area for the AlgoX buttons and features with some minor layout changes to accommodate the reduced width. This then frees up chart real estate depending on the screen size/laptop size you use.
To switch modes – go to the new AlgoX Tools submenu in VolumeProfile Menu :
Enable (Save) Regular AlgoX Panel Width (Default) / Narrow Panel Mode (Must Restart NT8 to take effect)
Important you must close down Ninja and save workspace and restart for this to take effect for the next and subsequent sessions. Note that changing this setting takes effect for the Whole Session ie not on a chart/tab basis.

OFA Delta Add-On
A small modification made to the Up Down Tick Delta process for the Line on close option overlay used over price.
OFA Block Speed Add-On :
For Outlier Scaled circles ie – Using Scaled Blocks and Enabled Outliers option – A Cross marker option alternative has been provided and will be drawn on the center point of these circles. The color will be used from the Outlier Color and the Font Size and opacity of the Cross can be set in the OFA Block&Speed Main menu under VolumeProfile
Go to the submenu : Set Block… Size&Opacity and the Font Size / opacity are in the bottom section for the new Cross option.
To enable, the menu item is in the Block/Speed quick menu : Display/Hide Outlier Block Circles Cross Marker.
You can have both if you want to ie not mutually exclusive
OFA WaveVolume Add-On : an additional sequence pattern included to accommodate continuation of the swings. So this is in synch with the soon to be released MotiveWave OFA WaveVolume version.

Exhaustion Filter added this is a 3 row filter addition to the Auto-Exhaustion – this is in the VolumeProfile Sequence Alerts/Exhaustion sub-menu.
An additional row filter will be added in future release to the Absorption Add-On
Two additional Profile Selections have been added to the Horizontal Profile menu and VolumeProfile menu.
These are called SPL1 & SPL1(A) – with One click on the chart the profile will automatically extend to the live bar / or to the one prior depending on the
Setting Enable/Disable SPL1 Live/Last (Default enabled) / One Bar Prior
This option to use prior live bar or the live bar (default) is in the Main VolumeProfile Menu
Option to use thicker candle width – In OFA parameter Settings section : Use Alternate Wick Width for OFA & OFA Auction Bar Wick Width
Option to disable drawing of the Auction Bar Cluster zone – in OFA parameter Settings section : Show Bar Cluster Option – default true
If you use OFA minutes or seconds bars you may only want to see the POC on a particular chart so you can now disable the Cluster drawing portion.
OFA Delta Add-On
All volume & imbalance circle display option settings are persisted/saved including the Max Min display options.
A new feature has been added to show Diagonal POC Circles for each option. These are scaled according to the current chart view – note these are ONLY drawn as Circles and does not use the alternate DOT mode. This volume analysis type is the only one that is not available in DOT mode.
A Max color option is also provided for these In the delta group parameters to highlight the largest Diagonal POC in view :

Max value in view of Diagonal POC and Min setting in slider is shown at top right with other volume analysis numbers DPOC (largest in chart view) and MDPOC (min setting) Note : Only the diagonal POC has MAX color change at this time.
A setting has been provided (consistent with all volume sliders) to set the Max Diagonal POC Volume – is in the Delta Group Parameters.
As with all other sliders adjust according to the market you are trading.
For SPY and other ETFs this can be set to a very large number – will be illustrated with new bar type Add-On being shown soon.
Circle Width settings for the 4 analyses have been added to the Opacity/Width submenu – in the bottom section
A new minimum circle size when in circle mode for all the options is provided
This is called : Enable/Disable Minimum Ratio Circle Size / (Default disabled) with an adjustment slider beneath.
It is recommended to NOT use all but layer in one at time as resonates with your style of analysis.
Eg. Combine dots with the circles of DPOC & you can change opacity and size of these dots and circles
An option to used Fixed size for circles has been added :
Enable/Disable Circle Size Scaled to Bar Width (Default) / (Fixed Width)
Suggested settings for each option are :
Scaled = 6 : Dots = 22 : Fixed = 32
Ensure if using Fixed Width and min circle size is enabled to also set for the fixed option
These settings will be saved once you arrive at your display preference
Delta Histogram opacity dynamic change available in the Opacity/Width Submenu, last in top section.
OFA Book Add-On :
An additional line indicator has been added called OFABookAggLine. This will be covered for initial recommended settings in the Release Video. This is initially ONLY available in Overlay mode for the Price Panel ie Panel 1.
If using refresh delay for OFA in the Settings Parameters then recommended to disable/uncheck the refresh option in the OFABookAggLine.
This enables you to observe the inside Order Book levels typically set to a smaller setting of 4 to start and contrast to the Price action and Auction Bars and
Also to the Delta Overlay lines if you use those from the Delta Add-On.
Refinement of handling of news events and fast market conditions when liquidity is pulled.
OFA Block Speed Add-On :
As reminder from prior release the Display option for Blocks (with volume numbers) will now show the alternate colors in parameters when the Enable/Disable Outliers option is selected
Show the Max Block with alternate Bid / Ask colors. For both the Blocks with numbers and the Scaled blocks this will show for the Max Block in the chart view – the settings in OFA parameters are as follows :
Max Block in ChartView ASK Color / Max Block in ChartView BID Color
For Outlier Scaled circles ie – Using Scaled Blocks and Enabled Outliers option – A midline will be drawn on these circles. The color will be used from the Outlier Color and the width and opacity of the Midline can be set in the OFA Block&Speed Main menu under VolumeProfile.
Go to submenu Set Block… Size&Opacity and the width / opacity are in the bottom section for the new Midline.
To enable, the menu item is in the Block/Speed quick menu : Display/Hide Outlier Block Circles Midline.

Please close all workspaces and then remove the assembly for this Add-On – restart ninja then Import the updated OFABookAddonTools.
OFA Core : and all Add-Ons and OFA now aligned to major update for NT8 8.0.27.1. Due to Ninjatrader now using SQLite in their architecture, this forced OFA to update to a later version hence the need to reset the OFASettings.dat file. There was no way to avoid this due to deprecated functionality in later release.
OFA Block Speed Add-On : The Display option for Blocks (with volume numbers) will now show the alternate colors in parameters when the Enable/Disable Outliers option is selected

OFA Core : A warning/error message will appear if the Break at EOD option is enabled in the Dataseries panel.
OFA Block & Speed Tick Add-on.
A new ‘Quick’ menu access named Block/Speed has been added to the horizontal toolbar after DP(A).
Only items considered needed for the quick access are shown on the Quick menu – any requests for additions please submit ticket to support.
New items in Quick menu :
Display Average Block amounts bottom right/left
Enable/Disable Outliers > (greater than) than Multiple of Average Bid/Ask Blocks : This is a new option to use with the Scaled Blocks option. A multiple of the Average Bid/Ask Blocks is used to define a ‘baseline’ and any Block volume greater than this ‘baseline’ will use the alternate Bid/Ask Circle color. Additionally these blocks greater than the ‘baseline’ value will be set to the size of the ‘Max Scaled Block Circle Size’
Any Block volume less than the ‘baseline’ value will be scaled according to the ‘baseline’ value which will be the size of the ‘Max Scaled Block Circle Size’ setting.
This facilitates situation when sudden large Blocks appear and so the color changes but does not then make previous blocks insignificantly smaller. Video will be posted with release to outline this
These alternate Bid/Ask Circle colors can be set in the OFA Parameters in the Block Section.
Slider control to adjust the Multiple of Average Bid/Ask Blocks – suggested initial values to use are 1.0 – 1.2 til you get used to this.
New items in Main menu :
Display/Hide Blocks Mouse Click Bar Zone Display – for users who want to disable the ‘mouse over’ display option you can optionally use this and so the Bid Ask Price/Block details will be shown when clicking in the Bar zone.
The OFA Absorption/SRA and OFA Block&Speed Addons Menus have been moved to the top of the VolumeProfile menu for easier access.
OFA WaveVolume Time Histogram Addon – This release enables users to purchase this Addon separately who do not have the minimum 2 Addons from prior launch. Will be available in coming weeks for launch. If you want this now send in a ticket to support.

OFA Delta Add-On:
A new parameter has been added to display the cumulative delta as a line on close ; this enables you to overlay the OFA Delta on the price panel.
Additionally an option has been provided to display the Up/Down Tick delta based on the tick activity (not bid ask volume). The default is to display the net bid / ask volume.
Additionally if you wish to add both lines for each delta type to a chart ie bid/ask volume and the tick delta : you can overlay both of these on the price panel using the Overlay mode for each line. Some scaling changes have been provided in order to allow this display format.

OFA Core :
In the OFA Parameters in the Settings Group (near the bottom of the OFA settings) a new option has been added to Reverse the Drawing order of OFA Bars. When this is True OFA will render the OFA bars Right to Left otherwise it will be Left to Right. The default is False ie Left to Right. This has been included as an option to continue to improve the drawing/rendering of OFA bars during fast volatile periods of the market. If you are in any doubt as to the use and function of this then please leave Disabled/False.
OFA Bar Strategy Addon :
An additional Sample has been added called OFASampleIndCCLStripesPOCEMA. This is a variation to the existing CCL sample and includes using an EMA filter using OFA POC bar data to filter the signals. I have also provided another display option to show the cluster close pattern & ema signals using Vertical stripes similar to the bloodhound screen. There are 4 display options to use for this in the code.
There are now 11 indicator samples and 2 strategy samples in this Addon.
OFA Bloodhound Addon :
An additional Sample has been added called OFASampleIndCCLStripesPOCEmaBH
In addition to this a separate Bloodhound template has been included which reflects the same logic template for this sample.

OFA Core :
Option added to display OFA Bar types as EquiVolume Bars. The width of the body indicates how much volume is in the Auction/Bar in comparison to the other bars in the Chart View. Wide Bar indicates high volume and a thin bar indicates low volume.
Note only the body outline and body fill are adjusted. The POC & Cluster areas etc will remain the same width as they are important price levels that need to be visible.
Access to this option is via the VolumeProfile menu then in the Delta & COT Numbers & Print Zero Numbers / Equivolume sub menu. Default is set to OFF and you can dynamically toggle this feature on and off.
This enhances the readability of the OFA Auctions and highlights Auctions with higher volume.
Within the same sub-menu above is a new option to disable the display of the zeros/0 in the Print mode.
A sub-menu has been added to the VolumeProfile menu to manage the Opacity values for each of the Settings in the OFA Settings Menu. In managing the settings here you can control these and they will be saved on a per-Chart basis. Setting opacity to value 1 will set the color setting to transparent.
An option has been added in the OFA parameters in the Settings Parameters section of the OFA indicator via the indicator panel.
These settings are ‘Refresh MS’ which is the refresh milliseconds – default setting is 100 – the lowest value is 50ms. The other setting is to enable use of the Refresh MS period – default is disabled.
Currently in Ninjatrader the chart rendering refresh is set to 250 milliseconds. There is threads in ninja support over the last years covering this fixed setting. I have implemented a method to allow OFA charts to be refreshed to the millisecond value used in this setting. Note the default is OFF for any chart.
Important Consideration here ! – Please use this sparingly initially on only a couple of charts (eg. your execution chart) as it will impact overall performance but this will depend on the specification of your computer. Try this initially on ONE chart to observe the effects.
This is an option I use on my NQ and ES chart.
If you are in any doubt as to the use and function of this then please leave DISABLED.
OFA Delta Addon :
Similar to the OFA Core addition for OFA Bars an Option has been added to display OFA Delta as EquiVolume Bars. The width of the body indicates how much volume is in the Delta in comparison to the other Delta bars in the Chart View. Wide Bar indicates high volume and a thin bar indicates low volume.
This is accessed via the top Sub-menu in the Delta Addon Menu. It is the last option in the Delta Histogram/Profile Details/Delta #s sub menu at the top.
Following from the previous release additions to provide DOTS option to display imbalances (see prior release notes) an option to Centre the DOTS on the candle border has been provided. When is disabled the DOTS will be outside the candle outline. Enabling this option will centre the DOT on the candle outline.
This option is in the 2nd section of the Delta Addon Menu.
OFA Risk Reward Addon :
Option has been added to SAVE the Entry / Stop & Ticks Offsets as Defaults.
In the same location on the menu is a new option for Offsets similar to the existing option to Save the Entry & Stop Dropdown selections.

OFA Risk Reward Addon
For the Entry Price – Chart Selected Price has been added as an option to calculate Risk Reward. Simply select this new Entry option then in the Menu option below ‘SELECT CHART Price…’ is clicked and you will be prompted to place the cursor at your chosen Chart Price.

New Volume Profile Menu Palette – Horizontal menu palette added for quick access/ONE click adding of the different profile types and Active Profile types. Each of the items in prior Volume Profile menu included. OFA parameter (top section) option to disable this for users who do not want this menu shown. Default is true.
OFA Delta : All Delta Addon features relocated to separate top level Delta Menu.
OFA Advanced Profile Users – Addition of Swing High & Swing Low of Profiles for ALGOX Users in the Execution Algo Stop/Size off (both directions covered) and Risk Reward has additional entries for Stop/Size off drop down. This facilitates some user entry Strategies especially with Decision Points at top and bottom edge locations.
Advanced Profile Users will also see an option to ‘Extend Value Area High/Low & POC lines to the right margin for all profile types. The color and style is derived from the General tab in the volume profile menu settings. This feature helps bring into focus key levels you have for any Decision points or other profiles added for possible entry locations or take profit levels.
OFA ALGOX – see above – two additional drop down options for Execution Algo Stop/Size Off. SwingHigh and SwingLow for Advanced profile users.
OFA Bar Strategy and Bloodhound Strategy Addons : additional exposed data points for each OFA Bars POC (total / Bid / Ask volume elements available). Bid and Offer Alert counts are available for each bar (these are the individual alerts distinct from the sequence markers shown on chart)

Continuing the convenience options for Decision Point Profiles :
Each of the three Decision Point Profile options now has an Active option which enables the profile automatically for advanced profile / RR addon / Algox – whichever applicable.
Toggle option for Decision Point Profiles to disable live tracking when initially attached to and or including the Live bar. Default is to continue to expand with next live bar but this can be toggled off. Use case for some users of DP profiles to remove the need to disable live tracking when live bar is included.
The Cross(X) button (with mouse over highlight) added to top right of profiles for quick delete of profiles. There is option in OFA parameters to disable this feature if user chooses to not use it.
Reduced spacing between Print & structure bars to enable more bars on screen.
RR Addon :
Option to Enable for an ACTIVE Decision Point profile set for POC entry and VAH or VAL stop/risk to flip the RR lines based on the close of the last bar before the current live one – this can be useful when monitoring last key transition being considered for an entry. This option is in the RR menu 4th from top and applies to the current Active DP profile and only for the entry POC and stop VAH/VAL combination.
