As you can imagine, my inbox is constantly stuffed with questions about OFA. My general rule: Support comes first. If you submit a support ticket – you’ll always get the fastest response. If you send me a personal email or reply to a previous thread directly to my email – the priority goes way down the list. Smart customers have learned to submit their non-techsupport questions as support tickets also – making sure they really get a reply…
Tony was sharp enough to take it to a new level. He submitted a support ticket and took the time to ask his question in video format. This gives me the full context of the question – which means I have a chance of providing a logical response! I can’t tell you how many 5-word questions I get which then require another 10 emails back and forth to eventually turn into a real question… Look – if you can’t spend 5 minutes thinking about a complete question (with punctuation and everything), why should I spend 30 minutes trying to help?
